Flames Youth Hockey is once again
participating in the Southwest Spring League. The SWSL is a
very competitive spring program giving all participants an
opportunity to hone skills, continue to improve team
dynamics and encourage a positive hockey experience - all of
this in a shortened season. The 2008 season will begin the
weekend of March 22nd and be over by May 26th. The Flames
will field teams at every level, Mite through Midget Major,
in three playing divisions - Red, White and Blue.
For all goalies, Stu Gould will be having
weekly goalie instruction for six weeks during the Spring
Season as well after.
All players can expect a Flames jersey and to play a total
of 10 games, 5 home and 5 away. Each team will have 5 full
ice practices and NEW this year each team will
be given 6 ice slots for 4 on 4 play.
There will be 6 Goalie Clinic Sessions
this Spring for all the Spring goalies. The times are:
Wednesdays @ 7:00p - 8:30p on ADD-NHL on these dates 3/19,
3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23.
Fees:
Tryout fee (due on the 1st night of try
outs): $75 League fee: $495
Goalies fees are half price
